Mental Health Family Resource Night April 26

We will host a mental health-themed Family Resource Night from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, in the Windsor High School Auditorium.

The evening will include light refreshments and community gathering, the opportunity to engage with local service providers at a resource fair, and a presentation on internet safety and youth mental health.

Clinicians Julia Kallis, Sara Flores, Miranda Jankowski, and Ashley Oxton from North Range Behavioral Health will present “Teens, Technology, and Their Mental Health.” Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how teens interact with their screens and learn how there is more than meets the eye. Drawing from leading research and their own experiences as parents, the North Range team will cover what exactly teens are doing on their devices, how to navigate the risks in a digital world, and some strategies for parents to create a more open dialogue about social media with their teen.
