While meals will be provided for free to all Weld RE-4 School District students through Healthy School Meals for All, it's important for us to continue gathering information to receive full access to available federal funds that support nutritional programs at your school.

We encourage you to complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application. Paper applications are available at all schools and the District Office (1020 Main Street, Windsor, CO).

Here are some of the benefits that qualifying families may receive:

  • Reduced or waived class fees
  • Reduced Windsor Parks, Recreation, & Culture registration fees
  • Discounted internet services via the Affordable Connectivity Program

Your children may qualify if they:

  • Receive SNAP, FDPIR, or TANF
  • Are a foster child under the legal responsibility of a foster care agency or the court
  • Attend a Head Start program
  • Meet the definition of homeless, runaway, or migrant
  • Have a qualifying household income

You only need to fill out one application per household. Even if you filled out the application in previous years, you will need to complete the application every school year.

Last, but certainly not least, if you need meal support this summer for your children, please visit the USDA’s website to find options.
