ParentSquare Overview: It's Coming

Introducing ParentSquare

Fostering a positive relationship with our families centered on trust and transparency is important in the Weld RE-4 School District. We look to enhance our communication with families through the launch of a new messaging platform, ParentSquare.

What is ParentSquare?

ParentSquare is a comprehensive communications tool that will be used for all school and district messages.

Why ParentSquare?

ParentSquare offers a host of features all in one tool:

  • Communication via text, phone, and email

  • Two-way communication (direct message teachers and staff)*

  • Ability to set communication and language preferences

  • Sign digital forms and permission slips

  • Sign up to volunteer or participate in various events

  • See calendar events

  • Receive a daily digest at 5:30 p.m. — a combination of multiple, non-urgent messages

  • Consistent experience across all schools

While there is an app (App Store | Google Play), you will still be able to receive emails, phone calls, and texts from us without an extra download or log in. However, the browser platform and app do provide additional features and two-way communication with us in your language of choice.

What does the rollout look like?

We are in the testing phase of ParentSquare. You’ll see a select group of individual units utilizing the platform, including schoolwide messages. All teachers and staff will use ParentSquare by fall 2024. Stay tuned for more communication and training this spring semester.

*Note: The ability to message individual staff members will be turned off until the full launch.
