Weld RE-4 Exceptional Students in Transition (WEST) Program
The WEST Program offers community-based transition services for students between the ages of 18-21. The program supports transition needs as they relate to their post secondary goals. This program works to build the skills necessary to living as independently as possible.
WEST students have graduated from the traditional high school setting, and now attend the WEST Program three-days per week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Community Support From Businesses
WEST student workers currently complete job tasks locally including cleaning businesses, delivering meals, organizing meals for distribution, providing services to local veterans, distributing flyers for local businesses, and being ambassadors for good will as they embark upon potential careers. The WEST students know that they represent the future and strive to perform well in both work and professional behavior.
