Summer School Credit Recovery

Course Information

Students may register for up to two courses at one time. Course requests may be exam-only or full courses. Upon successful completion, students may request additional courses as needed (a maximum of two at a time). Counselors will verify course requests and provide additional course needs by May 29. The last day to add pre-approved courses is June 13th.

Fees

Summer credit recovery requires a $50 registration fee (includes administrative and setup costs) in addition to either:

  • Full Course Fee: $50 Each Course. Includes all course content, exams, and mentoring throughout the duration of the quarter; OR
  • Exam-Only Fee: $10 Each Course. This includes only the Final Exam. Students will have ONE opportunity to pass the Final Exam with a 60% or better. Course credit will be awarded upon successful completion. If unsuccessful, students must complete the entire course, and the full course amount will be charged.

Registration and associated course or exam fees must be paid before a student can begin credit recovery.

Attendance and course progress will be monitored. Students are encouraged to attend at least two days per week in person for the entire duration. Students with unique needs will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

Devices

All students should turn in their devices at the end of the regular school year. They will be assigned new Chromebooks after May 26 and will be responsible for turning them in by June 29.
