EMPOWER: Foster quality staff to provide stability and instruction to optimize student success
We believe our students deserve a quality education from outstanding instructors that care about students and their path to success. We look to foster a positive climate and culture, a sense of belonging, and professional growth for staff amidst fierce competition from regional school districts that benefit from the recently revised School Finance formula.
We will accomplish this priority by:
1. Providing information on school finance and long range plans
- In Progress: School Finance communications complete and underway with implementation (January 2026 launch); Re-engaging Long Range Facility Planning Committee
2. Implementing career pathways, succession planning, and leadership opportunities
- In Progress: Developing and launching certified and classified pathways in fall 2025
3. Outperforming the state average retention rate for licensed staff
- In Progress: Awaiting 2024 - 2025 data release; Climate & Culture survey underway (October 2025)
We will measure success through:
- Culture of Excellence and Ethics survey
- Staff retention rates
