How do I register my student(s) in grades kindergarten through 12?
- New Weld RE-4 Families (No students currently enrolled):
Complete an Online Registration application by visiting the Weld RE-4 School District New Student Registration page on our website.
- Existing Weld RE-4 Families (Adding a NEW student):
- Where to Complete: Can only be completed online through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
- Next Steps: If you already have a student enrolled in the district and are registering an additional student (e.g., a new Kindergartener), log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account and complete the application found on the Annual Family Check-In page. Applying through the portal will automatically pre-fill most of your household information.
- Need Portal Support? If you do not have an active Infinite Campus Parent Portal account, please reach out to your school’s main office for setup assistance.
How do I register my existing student for the next school year?
- For returning Weld RE-4 Families, Annual Family Check-In opens Feb. 3rd - March 17th.
- Current Weld RE-4 students who intend to continue to the next grade/school level are automatically set to attend their designated school. However, returning families must complete the Annual Family Check-In (AFC) each year to verify household details and updates.
- Where to Complete: AFC can only be completed online through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
- How to Complete: Annual Family Check-In only needs to be completed by one parent / guardian per student. For students residing in multiple households, the primary household must complete the AFC process. This is defined as the place where the student physically resides the most amount of time during the school week. .

How old does my child need to be in order to be registered in kindergarten?
- A child may enter kindergarten if they are 5 years old on or before October 1 of the year of enrollment.

About the Application
What do I do after completing the application?
- You will receive an automated email with information on the next step to completing enrollment. You will need to submit all required documentation in the portal, in addition to providing proof of your student’s identification in person at the school.
What are the required documents needed to register my student?
- Proof of Residency (Current lease or mortgage statement, or Utility bill dated within 60 days, including electric, gas, water, or trash bill)
- School Records
- If your child has previously attended another school, please provide a current report card or current transcript.
- Immunization Status
- Colorado law requires all students attending Colorado schools to be vaccinated against certain diseases unless they have a medical or non-medical exemption on file. View the school-required vaccines.
- Current Immunization Certificate or Immunization exemption
Provide one of the following documents in-person to your student's school:
- Birth Certificate
- Passport
- State issued ID
- Hospital certificate
- Baptismal certificate
