Our Vision

A vision statement is meant to be both inspirational and aspirational. It helps us plot our course and guide our efforts.

Engage.

An engaged student is one who is invested in their community and in their education. We must engage every student, whether it be helping them find what sparks their passion, or by simply showing up as an adult they can connect with and rely on. We believe that every student should have a staff member who they can talk to, get support from, and connect with in meaningful ways. In addition to our students, we look to build relationships with our staff, parents, and the larger community centered on trust and transparency. Students are best served through a strong partnership between parents and school staff.

Educate.

Our core mission and primary role as a public school system is to educate our students. But, we have a secret sauce: relationship-centered education in a safe environment. We get to know and genuinely care for our students and their families. When our students feel physically and emotionally safe, we can address their academic needs, challenging them to rise above expectations. As a team, we provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to do so, ultimately, preparing them for the world beyond our classrooms.

Empower.

We hope to empower our students to face challenges head on, to become problem solvers and innovators, and to be prepared for the world beyond our campuses. To do so, we must foster an environment that encourages independence, curiosity, critical thinking, and self-confidence. Ultimately, we work to empower students to initiate their own learning, because once they learn that, they can learn anything, anywhere, anytime — setting them up to thrive beyond the walls of our school buildings.
