Advanced Learning Plans
What is an ALP?
A legal document for planning and decision-making in programming for gifted students is crafted to cater to their unique giftedness, interests, and needs. It serves as a record of the programming that has been implemented, thereby influencing educational planning and decisions. This is a dynamic document that is created and revised collaboratively by the gifted site coordinator, the student, teachers, and parents. Furthermore, it integrates with the Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) and is student-led at the high school level.
