ATTENTION:

We are no longer accepting Certified Substitute applications at this time. Due to the large volume of applicants, our job fulfillment rate for Certified Substitutes is at 100% consistently. This position will reopen in the spring based on need. We are currently accepting Classified Substitute applications.

---

Our substitutes are highly valued members of our district staff and help ensure we provide continuity to our students, manage their health and well-being, maintain high standards in our classrooms, and provide students with uninterrupted access to a wide range of essential programs and services.

There are two types of substitutes: certified or classified. Certified substitutes are for those who hold a teaching license or a one, three, or five-year sub license. Classified substitutes can work in a range of non-teaching positions, including:

  • Instructional Aide - assists the teacher with students in their daily work

  • Special Education Instructional Aide - assists students with special needs in their daily work

  • Nutrition Services - assists cooks and servers in the school kitchens
