Colorado Employer Benefit Trust (CEBT)

In collaboration with public institutions from across the state, we’ve partnered with Colorado Employer Benefit Trust (CEBT) as our benefits provider. Through CEBT, you can:

  • Enroll and manage benefit plans
  • Find providers
  • View and order ID cards
  • Connect with customer service support
  • View benefit booklets
  • Access resources

Eligibility

  • Certified Staff: Benefits are available with a full-time equivalent status (FTE) of 0.5 or more. A status of 0.5 - 0.74 are offered benefits at a rate proportional to their contract.
  • Classified Staff: Benefits are available if regularly employed for 30 or more hours per week.
  • Administrative, Professional, & Technical Staff: If you are within the Administrative, Professional, and Technical employee group, please identify with either the Certified or Classified groups, as appropriate, for benefit purposes.

All eligible employees must enroll in or waive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance through CEBT, our benefits management portal. If no election is made, you are auto-enrolled in the base plan. Our plans are not packaged, giving you the flexibility to pick-and-choose your benefits elections. For example, you may opt into medical, and out of vision and dental.

Open Enrollment or Changes

Changes to your benefit offerings can occur during Open Enrollment each April or with a qualifying event. Visit the CEBT benefits management portal to request changes to your benefits mid-year or during open enrollment, or contact the Payroll and Benefits Manager if you have questions.

Activation

Benefits become active depending on your start date:

  • Hire Date 1st - 15th: Benefits will start the 1st of the next month. Example: If you start March 3, your benefits begin April 1.
  • Hire Date 16th - 31st: Benefits will start the 1st of the following month. Example: If you start March 18, your benefits begin May 1.
