Our district’s top priority through our COVID-19-response efforts has been and will continue to be in-person education in safe and healthy school environments

As of Monday, March 21, 2022, we transitioned our COVID-19 response procedures to “routine disease control.” We no longer track the number of COVID-19 cases in our schools. As a result, we also no longer send weekly exposure notifications. Masks are no longer required in district facilities or district transportation. There are currently no capacity restrictions in place.

Immunizations

Children ages 5 and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine. View vaccine locations and providers available throughout Weld County. There are no plans to host a vaccine clinic or vaccine event through the district or our schools.

Screening and Attendance

We ask that staff and families continue to review and check for illness symptoms daily. Our district follows the “How Sick is Too Sick” illness attendance guidelines from the Colorado Department of Education. Please stay home if you or your child is exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms or awaiting COVID-19 test results. Do not attend school or extracurricular activities. Call the attendance line to report if you or your child is exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, has been tested for COVID-19, or will be tested for COVID-19. Monitoring

We will continue to monitor area COVID-19 data, and will consult with the Weld County Department of Public Health & Environment, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and other agencies as needed.
