The Weld RE-4 School District in the County of Weld, State of Colorado, calls for nomination of candidates for school directors to be placed on the ballot for the regular biennial school election to be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. 

At this election two (2) directors will be elected representing District A and District C for a term of office of four (4) years. To be qualified, a candidate must have been a registered elector of the school district for at least twelve (12) consecutive months before the election and a resident of the director district which will be represented. A person is ineligible to run for school director if he or she has been convicted of committing a sexual offense against a child.

A person who desires to be a candidate for school director shall file a written notice of intention to be a candidate and a nomination petition signed by at least fifty (50) eligible electors who are registered to vote in the regular biennial school election.

Nomination petitions may be obtained at the modular building on the east side of Tozer Primary School, located at 501 Oak St., Windsor, CO. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (closed daily from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.). 

Completed petitions shall be submitted to Nicole Baich, Secretary to the Board of Education at 501 Oak St., Windsor, CO, no later than 4:30 p.m. on August 29, 2025.
