Our district is governed by the Board of Education. This group of five volunteers share a deep commitment to providing a sound education to all young people living in the district.

Each Board Member is elected from a geographic district for four-year terms. As the policy-making body, the Board of Education is responsive to the community values and needs while acting within the framework of local, state, and federal laws, and has seven key responsibilities per policy BBA:

1. Legislative or policymaking
2. Educational planning and appraisal
3. Staffing and appraisal
4. Financial resources
5. School facilities
6. Communication with the public
7. Judicial

The Board may exercise the above powers and duties only when convened in a legally constituted meeting.

The Board of Education will hold one regular meeting a month, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Weld RE-4 Board Room located at 1020 Main St., Windsor. Special meetings will be scheduled on an as needed basis. All Regular Meetings are live streamed and recorded.
