Connect to Guest Wifi Network

1. To connect to the guest wifi network, select 'guest' and enter the password: wsdguest

2. Open a browser and navigate to a new page, such as www.google.com or www.weldre4.org

3. You will be re-directed to a user agreement page. If you receive a message asking whether or not to continue or trust the certificate, select continue or the available affirmative response

4. Read the agreement and select Agree or Disagree

5. If agree is selected, your device will be joined to the guest wireless network

6. Install the security certificate by following the instructions for your device below.

Connect to Student/Staff Wifi (waccess)

Staff and students can connect their personal devices to the waccess wireless network using their district network credentials.

Security Certificate

Click on the link below to download the certificate. Then, install it by following the device-specific instructions below.

iBoss SSL Certificate

The iBoss SSL certificate must be installed on any device connected to the district network in order to successfully view secure sites. 

Click on the headings below to expand or close the instructions in each field.

iPad/iPhone (iOS) - Install SSL Certificate

In order to access sites that use SSL (secure socket layer) connections, you will need to install the iBoss Certificate. The certificate can be installed on an iPad, iPod touch, or iPhone by doing the following (requires passcode if there is one):

(Skip to step 2 if you are installing the certificate on the device you are currently using)

1. Open Safari and go to www.weldre4.org/wifi 

2. Click on the iBoss SSL certificate link at the top of the page

3. Click on Download

4. Click Install (3 times)

5. Click done

**Note: If you receive a message that says "unable to open" when attempting to download the certificate, look for a link in the upper right hand corner of the screen to continue to Google.com

Mac (OSX) - Install SSL Certificate

In order to access sites that use SSL (secure socket layer) connections, you will need to install the iBoss Certificate. The certificate can be installed on a Mac by doing the following (requires administrator password):

(Skip to step 2 if you are installing the certificate on the device you are currently using)

1. Open Safari and go to www.weldre4.org/wifi 

2. Click on the iBoss SSL certificate link at the top of the page

3. Click on Download

4. Find your downloads folder and double-click on the certificate to open

5. (If applicable) Select "System" in the drop-down box instead of "Login"

6. Close and Re-open Keychain Access

7. Click on the System keychain-->Certificates category to view the System Certificates

8. If iboss.weldre4.org is listed in the system certificates folder, continue to step 11. If iboss.weldre4.org is not listed in the system certificates, complete steps 9-10.

9. Unlock the system keychain by clicking on the lock icon in the upper right corner and entering the administrator password

10. Drag the certificate file from the downloads folder to the system certificates table in Keychain Access

11. Double-click on the certificate

12. Click on the arrow next to Trust to expand the Trust options

13. Select Always Trust for all options

Windows 7, 10 - Install SSL Certificate

In order to access sites that use SSL (secure socket layer) connections, you will need to install the iBoss Certificate. The certificate can be installed by following the instructions below.

(Skip to step 2 if you are installing the certificate on the device you are currently using)

Windows 7

1. Open a browser and go to www.weldre4.org/wifi

2. Click on the iBoss SSL certificate link at the top of the page

3. Click on Download

4. Double-click on the file in the downloads folder to open

5. Click on Install Certificate

6. Click Next two times (in the install wizard window)

7. Click on Finish

8. Click OK on the pop-up box

9. Click OK in the certificate window

Windows 10

1. Open a browser and go to www.weldre4.org/wifi

2. Click on the iBoss SSL certificate link at the top of the page

3. Click on Download

4. Double-click on the file in the downloads folder to open

5. Click on Install Certificate

6. Select local machine. If a user account control box appears, click yes

7. Select the button (*) Place certificates in the following store then; browse
  
8. A window will open select/highlight Trusted Root Certification Authorities; then hit ok

9. Final window Completing the Certificate Import Wizard; then finish

Chrome OS - Install SSL Certificate

In order to access sites that use SSL (secure socket layer) connections, you will need to install the iBoss Certificate. The certificate can be installed on a Chromebook by doing the following:

(Skip to step 2 if you are installing the certificate on the device you are currently using)

1. Open a browser and go to www.weldre4.org/wifi

2. Click on the iBoss SSL certificate link at the top of the page

3. Click on Download

4. Type the following into the Chrome address bar: chrome://settings/certificates

5. Click on Authorities and then Import

6. Select Downloads (on the left), select "All Files" in the drop-down menu at the bottom

7. Select the iBoss certificate

8. Trust all options

9. Click OK

***Note: This method will install the certificate for the user who is currently logged in to Chrome OS. If another user logs in to the Chromebook, the certificate will need to be installed again using the method above.

Android - Install SSL Certificate

In order to access sites that use SSL (secure socket layer) connections, you will need to install the iBoss certificate. The certificate can be installed on an Android device by doing the following (adding this certificate requires the use of a Lock Screen on your device):

(Skip to step 2 if you are installing the certificate on the device you are currently using)

1. Open a browser and go to www.weldre4.org/wifi

2. Click on the iBoss SSL certificate link at the top of the page

3. Click on Download (default download location is the 'Downloads' folder)

4. Go to 'Settings' and chose 'Security'

5. Choose 'Install from storage'

6. Chose 'Open from' --> Downloads and select the iBoss certificate

7. Give the certificate a name and select 'WiFi' in the 'Credential use' field

8. Tap 'OK'

9. Once the certificate is installed, you will see a warning about Network monitoring. Disregard this message.

10. You will be prompted to set up a Lock Screen (e.g. pattern, pin, or password) if you do not already have one configured.

**Note: Once the certificate is installed, the Lock Screen cannot be turned off/disabled unless the certificate is uninstalled.

**Note: Some versions of Android will require a different sequence of steps. It may be necessary to determine your version of Android and then Google "how to install a security certificates on android <your particular version>"
