August 2017-May 2018 Programming development to begin after hiring the core Instructional Leadership Team from interviews of existing teachers in the Weld RE-4 school district. Community input on programming will be at the November 30th SMS PTO/SAC meeting and from input received from the district-wide educational Survey administered in the Fall of 2017. School name, colors and mascot input was collected at Severance Days last summer and will be collected at the PTO/SAC meeting and from the SMS 8th grade "change the world" project where all SMS students will be able to provide input on school name, colors and mascot. There will be an invitation for any interested community members to be a part of programming/instructional model discussions in the Spring of 2018 with our Instructional Leadership Team using the Fall 2017 community survey results.
