Bond Home / 2016 Election

Archived Information

2016 Election-Senate Bill 03-139 Notice

Bond Summary

The Board of Education will vote in the summer of 2016, on whether to refer a bond program to the ballot for voter consideration. If referred by the Board, the question will be on the November, 2016 ballot.

Tax Impact
Ballot issues 3B & 3C are the mill levy override and bond program that voters approved in the 2016 election. The mill levy override (3B) will provide additional operating monies exclusively for Weld RE-4 that will support operating costs for a second high school and Windsor Charter Academy and will fund new technology districtwide. The bond (3C) will fund non-routine repairs and improvements for all of the district’s schools as well as a second high school for the district.
